- Vehicle data: registration number, make/model/year, mileage, MOT history, service/repair bills and photos you upload
- Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited
- Technical data: device information, cookies
- Inferred data: AI-generated health scores, degradation forecasts, and cross-referenced predictions based on similar vehicles in our moat
- Voice logs (if you use future voice features)
We never sell your personal data.
4. How we use your data
We use your data to generate and deliver personalised AI health scores, 3-year forecasts, and maintenance predictions using official government data and anonymised patterns from similar vehicles in our moat.

7. Data retention & Account Deletion
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the duration of your relationship with us plus 6 years for legal purposes.
Account Deletion (Right to Erasure)
If you request deletion of your account, we will permanently remove your personal account record, login credentials, diary entries, OTP codes, uploaded photos, voice logs (if any), and any Garage Tier subscription. For service history, cleaning logs, vehicle intelligence data, and aggregated moat statistics we will anonymise (remove all personal identifiers) and retain the non-personal information only. This helps improve the platform’s data moat and predictive intelligence for all users, in accordance with our privacy policy and your rights under GDPR Article 17.
8. International transfers
Data may be processed in the EEA or countries with adequate safeguards. We use standard contractual clauses where needed.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, object to processing, withdraw consent, and data portability. You can exercise any of these rights free of charge by contacting us at privacy@wheelsmatter.com.
